We are pleased to announce Dr. Wendy Bourland as our newest pediatrician. Dr. Bourland grew up in Waco, TX. She attended Medical School in Kansas City, MO and is Board Certified as a general Pediatrician and Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr Bourland did both her Residency and Fellowship in Pediatric and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in Kansas City, Missouri, earning her degree in 2005. 

Since earning her degree, she worked in Tulsa, OK as a Medical Director at Warren Clinic of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology for a year, while seeing patients in the clinic and at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa, OK for over 7 years. Dr. Bourland spent 8 years working at St. Jude Research Hospital, in Memphis, TN as a Hospitalist and spent almost 2 years in a clinic setting for the Sanitas Medical Center in Cordova, TN. We are pleased that Dr. Bourland decided to join Pediatric Associates of West Memphis and Marion in October of 2023.

Outside of treating our children, she loves to spend time with her 2 daughters being a soccer mom, going to estate sales, and singing in her church choir, as well as teaching the children’s choir.
